Football Coaching And Training Programme

The PSD player development programme is a football skills coaching method specifically for 5 - 13 year olds. Our programme focuses on individual skills development, technique and small group play.

Our football academy exists to assist young players along their football pathway. Whether you are a beginner trying to get into football or an elite player looking to push to the next level, our sessions will cater for your level of development.

Development Centre Session

Our development centre provides the ideal environment for a young players introduction to structured, professional coaching. Our sessions are designed to be engaging and offer the player the best chance to make progress. Prestige Football Academy has a player centred approach and is the perfect place to take your game to the next level. Beginner-intermediate level.

Time: 5 - 6pm

Information

The Prestige Football Academy's philosophy is to create a professional training environment for young players to develop and showcase their talents. The academy and programme have been set up by Matt Crawley who is UEFA and FA qualified and an ex Arsenal, Cambridge United & Colchester United Youth coach.

Programme

Players receive coaching through weekly sessions as part of our development centre through to the Advanced Academy. Sessions are ability specific and based around group and individual targets in relation to the Prestige Soccer Academy development syllabus. Each season includes 6 blocks of training. The blocks are split into 1) Dribbling & 1v1 2) Passing & Receiving Skills 3)Turning 4) Finishing 5) Control 6) Attacking & Defending. Ball Mastery and the development of Agility, Balance, Co-ordination and Speed will be evident in most sessions.

Advanced Academy

Invitation Only

The advanced academy is the elite performance tier and is for those players who have regularly demonstrated the capabilities to train at this level. Players are encouraged to develop confidence on the ball, display sound technique and to develop their understanding of the game. The sessions are player centred and predominantly technique and skill based. Our sessions are designed to engage children, while teaching new skills and practicing in an enjoyable environment.

Time: 6 - 7pm
